Week 29

It has been a bit since I have done a post focused on baby Sabrina and I. So here we go!

Week 28

Week 29

Stats:
Gestational Age: 29 weeks, 2 days
Weight Gain: 13 pounds (146). I thought for sure after all of the "All You Can Eat Buffets" in Vegas that I would put on some weight. I actually lost a pound or two between the day before our trip and now. At this point in my pregnancy with DJ, I was around 150 pounds. It is interesting to see the weight difference this time around.
T/P Tuesday for 29 weeks: 10 squares even.
Symptoms: Hip joint pain - I am limping a lot, especially by the end of the day. I thought rest would make it go away, but it seems to be sticking around. My appetite has decreased, possibly due to whatever position Sabrina has settled in. I get nauseous very easily, as well, and my energy levels are still in the dumps.
Baby Movement: ALL THE TIME when I sit still, and all over the place.

In other news, preparing for Sabrina has really gone nowhere. I think we may wait until after Christmas to vamp up our shopping. With our move to Brooklyn only a few months after Sabrina's due date, it seems silly to run out and buy a ton of stuff. We have decided to forgo nursery furniture until after our move, and I am pushing for a nice bassinet instead. We aren't sure how much space our new home will have, and if DJ and Sabrina will need to share a room or not. Also, we may be living on the road for a few weeks (between our cross Country drive and visiting our family), so it seems silly to buy a ton of clothes or lots of new things. Sabrina will be spoiled, for sure, just maybe not right away. :)

I do have a Doctor's appointment next Friday. Pretty routine stuff, I'm assuming. Heartbeat, weight/blood pressure check, and a discussion of my lab results from the Gestational Diabetes and Anemia test. I know these appointments are necessary, but they last all of 10 minutes and seem so silly. I'm kind of dreading them coming closer together, which should happen soon. I am lucky enough to be having a very normal, healthy pregnancy, and going in just seems like a waste of time. At least I get to hear Sabrina's heartbeat!
