David Jr is TWO!

On March 4, 2010, David Jr came into the world. (Birth story here)

Yesterday, my big boy turned two.

He woke up to find balloons everywhere, and a gift to unwrap!

He helped Momma put together his gift...

...then rode around in the kitchen

Mammie called to wish DJ a happy birthday, and let us know that a gift is coming in the mail (a pack of John Deer tractors). Later in the day, we made cupcakes, where Momma discovered that DJ does NOT like icing on his cupcake. As the day ended, DJ snuggled up on his couch and watched Cars 2, then went to bed early. Birthday's are tiring!

At 2 years old, David Jr:

• His favorite toy: A car or anything with wheels.
• His favorite foods: Fruits (especially blueberries right now), chips, and veggie puffs.
• Can say a lot of words and talk in full sentences, but is still having speech problems. He also likes to repeat whatever you say.
• Is in 2T pants and shirts, but 3T pajamas.
• Wears size 6 shoes.
• Loves to play outside and in the dirt.
• Has a bed time of 7pm.
• Naps sporadically.
• Thinks he is a grown man.
• Still sucks his thumb and has a blankie.
