5 Months

Baby David is 5 months old today. I noticed this morning how fast he is starting to become a little boy. He plays with toys, talks to other babies, and is well on his way to crawling. I was hoping that he would hold off on crawling until David gets home, so that they could experience this milestone together. But I think DJ has other plans.

{The girl who lives next door is standing outside in her underwear, letting her boyfriend fondle her. Ugh. And they also tied a hammock to their patio, using tape and a lot of rope. It's directly over concrete, and not safe. These people are insane.}

Life has been pretty normal. Our friends came home from their cross-country vacation, and DJ and I were excited to go visit them today. Mommy and Me class is going well. DJ is the only one who can't crawl yet, but we are both enjoying the company of other Mommies and babies. They are switching up the next session so that they can accommodate more babies, and the Tuesday class will begin at 9:15. That is right in the middle of baby David's nap time, so we will be attending the Wednesday 11:00 class. I am beyond thankful that we can afford for DJ and I to attend each week. It's the best $10.00 we spend. Besides the money I spend of coffee and creamer. :)

David comes home in another 6 weeks. DJ and I will be making his welcome home sign soon. I am very tempted to put DJ in a white onsie, Set him down with some paint, and see what happens. That way we will have an awesome homecoming sign, and maybe even a cute one-of-a-kind onsie for him!

We are taking 5 month photos tonight, so I will post them tomorrow. David complained that the last one was naked, so I haven't yet decided how we will take them. I hope they will turn out just as great as the last ones, though.

Have a great Wednesday!
