Those of you ladies who have ever experienced a deployment can so totally relate :)
I have sprinkled carpet freshener all over the living room, and plugged the vacuum cleaner in. My foot is on the power button. The phone rings.
Me: Hello?
David: Hey, babe.
Me: It's like you have ESP. You would call at this exact moment.
David: What? Are you naked?
Me: Ha. No, I was getting ready to vacuum.
David: Oh. Sigh
After I hung up, all I could do was laugh. And remember how much I love my husband, and how much I miss his wacky thinking.
