Coffee?

It's Monday. I'm exhausted. Coffee is brewing. Hubby left for work an hour ago. Baby David is drinking his bottle (he refuses to let me hold it for him any longer). The kitties are playing. I am wishing very, very hard that my coffee would brew faster.

Topic number 2: The meaning behind my blog name.

I think it's pretty self-explanatory. I drink copious amounts of coffee trying to get through each day with my son and toddler husband. Not that my job is hard, or I hate it. I am just exhausted.

I think all SAHM's reach a point where they just need a break. We are always working. We don't have weekends off. We don't get holidays off either. Sigh.

BUT.

The Marine Corps Ball is coming up. We are meeting up with some amazing friends who moved away, and they are going to take care of DJ for the night. David and I will get to spend a night in Disneyland, dressed up, eating good food, having some drinks, and kid-free. Hooray!

I'm gonna bawl my eyes out leaving DJ behind. But I couldn't think of better people to leave him with!
