Gobble Gobble

It's Thanksgiving!

(Not that you forgot or anything)

I have about an hour before I need to start all of this cooking. On the menu: Turkey, ham, candied yams, green bean casserole, macaroni and cheese, stuffing, mashed potatoes, banana pudding, and cherries in the snow. The only thing made right now is the cherries...

I better get to work.

DJ is decked out in his Thanksgiving finery, and is currently watching ENews! (his channel pick, not mine) while stuffing his face full of yogurt puffs. Kid after my own heart, that one is!

As typical of Thanksgiving, this post will be full of things I am Thankful for.

1. DJ's top teeth have finally cut through.
2. David and I have decided that it is time to start trying for another baby.
3. DJ is NOT walking yet.
4. The massive amount of carbs that are in our Thanksgiving meal.
5. We got our car registration in the mail, and didn't have to fly back to VA to sit at DMV.
6. I have a pair of leggings to wear today, and don't have to suffer through I-ate-too-much-and-now-my-jeans-are-too-tight syndrome.

Oh, were you expecting the traditional things I am thankful for? Like my family, friends, health, the money to pay our bills, a roof over my head, and food to eat? Obviously, I opted to go for a less traditional route.

Happy Turkey Day!
