Today is one of those days where the entire morning was full of crying. I really wanted to crawl back in bed and sleep for a few more hours. But, alas, children need watching, and David is at work.
Day #3- 5 things that irritate you about the opposite sex
1. That men can pretty much walk into a store and buy clothes without trying them on.
2. Men can be oblivious to everything going on around them. Definite one track mind syndrome.
3. In my experience, men are directionally challenged and can not ask for directions. It is like a blow to their ego.
4. Electronics obsessions. Enough said
5. Their ability to eat (and sometimes prefer) salty, tasteless boxed food with no problems.
Of course, these things apply to the men I have interacted with in my life. In no way am I saying that the things on my list apply to all men.
Some exciting news in the Klutts household - Sabrina is semi mobile! I was hoping that she would be a late crawler, (DJ is hard to keep track of as it is. Two mobile kids might further drive me crazy) but she has started to inch along the floor, dragging herself towards anything she deems interesting. She also does push ups, and got stuck on her hands and knees yesterday, crying because she couldn't go anywhere.
I am truly amazed at the strength of my love for her. It is just as fierce as the love I feel for DJ, and just as overwhelming. Sabrina is a tiny little girl, and I have the urge to snuggle her up in my arms and protect her from the world. There is something about girls that seems so vulnerable, and that needs protecting. Sabrina's personality is slowly starting to bloom. She loves to laugh at DJ's antics, prefers to be near to me or David, and has a smile that takes up her entire face. When I first found out I was pregnant for the second time, I longed to have a second little boy. I wanted DJ to have a little brother to tumble around with. But watching DJ run into Sabrina's room after a nap and exclaim "Good morning, sissy!" melts my heart. They are certainly going to be best of friends.
At least for a few years.
